Upgrading Your Camshaft Carrier – Is It Worth It?

I’ve read that some aftermarket companies offer upgraded camshaft carrier with improved strength and better oil flow. For those who’ve upgraded their camshaft carrier, did you notice any difference in engine performance or reliability? Is it something worth investing in for older engines prone to carrier wear?
