How often should you really change the transmission fluid on a BMW in this heat?

I've got a 2018 340i with about 90,000 km on it and I keep seeing conflicting advice online about the ZF transmission service. Some people say lifetime fluid means never change it, others say every 60,000 miles or the gearbox will fail early. Given how brutal our summer temperatures are in Abu Dhabi, I feel like the fluid probably breaks down faster. I want to find someone who qualifies as BMW Maintenance Experts Abu Dhabi to give me a straight answer instead of just trying to sell me a service I might not need yet. Has anyone here done a transmission flush or drain and fill on their BMW and noticed a real difference in shift smoothness? Also curious if the filter and pan need to be replaced at the same time or if that's overkill. Really don't want to destroy my transmission by either ignoring it or messing with it unnecessarily.
