My 2016 A5 has started doing this really annoying thing where it hangs onto gears too long and then slams into the next one, especially when the engine is cold. I've already tried a transmission reset using the pedal method and even changed the fluid at a local garage, but nothing helped. I think I need a proper Abu Dhabi Audi Gear Shifting Problem Fix from someone who understands the mechatronics or clutch adaptation on these DSG boxes. Does anyone know a specialist who won't just throw parts at it and actually diagnoses the root cause? I'm in Khalifa City but can drive anywhere in the city if they're good. Really hoping it's not the whole mechatronics unit because that's expensive. Would appreciate any names or experiences.
