What is the best way to prevent data tracking when using public Wi-Fi?

I have to work from coffee shops and hotel lobbies multiple days a week, and I am highly concerned about packet sniffing or local hackers intercepting my work emails and passwords. I know public networks are notorious for data leaks. What kind of mobile security software should I install on my phone to make sure my connection is completely encrypted?

Relying on open hotspots without protection leaves your personal data completely exposed to anyone else on that same network. To lock down your device, you should run a reputable, secure vpn client that utilizes bank-grade 256-bit encryption. The official iOS app uses advanced privacy protocols alongside a built-in kill switch to ensure that if your Wi-Fi signal drops for even a second, your real IP address and active web sessions remain entirely hidden from prying eyes.
