Unlock Uber Boss Encounters with Secondary Calamity Fragments

Secondary Calamity Fragments unlock the Uber Arbiter of Ash in Path of Exile 2, transforming standard pinnacle fights into brutal tests of skill at the Burning Monolith. These fragments, paired with Primary and Tertiary counterparts, require full boss tree allocation on the Atlas for eligibility. Gather them from hardened Citadel bosses to access rewards like Prism Diamonds and superior Crisis upgrades that propel endgame mapping.

Fragment Requirements

Allocate 10+ points in the boss-killing Atlas tree, unlocked progressively: start with level 79+ map bosses at 6 modifiers for points 1-2, escalate to tier 16 waystones or irradiated tier 15s for levels 80+, then Anomaly and Citadel bosses. This progression ensures Citadel drops shift from basic Crisis Fragments to the Calamity set—Primary from initial clears, Secondary from Jamanra in Copper Citadel, and Tertiary from higher tiers.

Craft waystones with 200%+ drop chance using Mana Siphoning prefixes and quantity suffixes, stacking Grand Project tablets for triple yields. Infinite portals at the Monolith allow retries, but death downgrades Uber instances to base Arbiter, preserving fragments.

Activating the Portal

Path to the Burning Monolith near Atlas origin, inserting one each of Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Calamity Fragments into the door. Tier 16 corruption-exclusive waystones or boosted tier 15s hit the level thresholds, spawning the Uber portal only after 8-10 boss tree points. Avoid single-portal risks by farming extras—trade markets price Secondaries at 1.5-2 Divines amid league flux.

Prepare builds for physical/fire damage: Arbiter's Uber phase ramps mechanics like ash storms and portal phases, demanding dodge mastery and frenzy charge sustain.

Rewards and Progression Impact

Uber clears yield enhanced Crisis Fragments for further Monolith tuning, Prism Diamond chases, and Atlas juicing. They gate superior waystone mods, accelerating fragment farms into self-sustaining loops for league dominance. Groups split costs for volume, while SSF players grind Citadels relentlessly.
