Got a 2013 Audi Q5 with the Quattro system and lately I've noticed a nasty grinding or growling sound coming from right underneath the center console area, but only when I'm making a tight turn like pulling into a parking spot or doing a three point turn. It doesn't happen on gentle curves or highway driving at all. The car has about 180,000 km and I've never touched the transfer case fluid so maybe that's it. I'm hoping I can just
restore AWD transfer case Dubai
with a fluid change and maybe an additive instead of a full rebuild. I found Dynostar's transfer case page and they mention chain stretch and bearing wear which sounds ominous. Has anyone here had that grinding on turns that went away after a simple service? Or am I looking at replacing the chain or clutch packs? Really nervous because I know Audi transfer cases aren't cheap to fix. Also is it safe to drive like this or am I making it worse every time I turn? Thanks everyone.
